Following my Master’s Degree in Professional Psychology, JFK University – 1985, I completed a two-year internship working with families recovering from sexual and emotional abuse. I also did training with the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group which equipped me with skills that help you understand the how and the why you react and feel the way you do.

For my work with couples, I have used many different approaches. I found The Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT – https://thepactinstitute.com/) most comprehensive and useful. I have been working with it since 2009.

I completed Level III training (the highest level available) with Dr. Stan Tatkin, UCLA (https://stantatkin.com/), who originated the PACT method. His books can be found on my Reading List page.
